Welcome
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) practicing on the near west side of Madison, Wisconsin. I provide individual and group psychotherapy and mindfulness-based therapy to adults and adolescents.
I offer an empathetic, safe, and non-judgmental environment and strive to create a collaborative, supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship with each of my clients. My goal is to help you identify and understand the obstacles you’re facing, recognize and utilize your strengths, and work toward enhancing a sense of well-being and personal satisfaction in your life.
Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all solution, and together we’ll find the best treatment path for you. I provide a highly personalized approach, tailored to your individual needs and objectives, and drawing upon a variety of treatment styles and techniques.
I value diversity, and I am committed to practicing culturally competent therapy. I welcome all clients — without regard to race, age, gender, religion, cultural heritage, sexual orientation or gender expression.
If you are looking for support and guidance to help you deal with a challenging situation, or are ready to make changes in your life, I welcome the opportunity to work with you.
My office is located on the near west side of Madison, next to Hilldale Mall, across University Avenue from Shorewood Hills. Parking is available in the building lot and on the street.
To make an appointment, or if you have any questions, please call me at (608) 556-2388, or email me at peggy@peggybraam.com. I’m happy to schedule a free 20-minute phone consultation with you.
